There is hardly anyone who would not prefer to watch a South Indian film. But it becomes enjoyable when it is dubbed in Hindi. This has even helped in the popularity of the pan-India concept, despite that a few have only managed to have a successful run.

But many titles entered the 100-crore club due to star power and content. Let’s check the list of those films.

1) Pushpa 2: The Rule

Icon Star Allu Arjun’s screen presence, dialogue delivery, and the intense climax easily helped the action-drama to create records in the North Indian market. It touched the mark of Rs. 100 crores in less than two days and continued to surprise the trade experts with new achievements throughout its run on the big screen.

2) Baahubali 2: The Conclusion

Prabhas became a popular face among every Hindi-speaking viewer with this magnum opus. The eagerness behind knowing the reasons for Katappa killing Baahubali contributed to its strong performance and finished well, crossing Rs. 100 crores in only three days.

3) K.G.F: Chapter 2

The public entered in large numbers to witness the clash between Rocky and Adheera. The film had an outstanding run in the Hindi markets, with shows being packed throughout the week. The 100-crore mark was eventually achieved in North India in two days after release.

4) Kalki 2898 AD

It took four days for the dystopian film to enter the 100-crore club. But it was an achievement for Prabhas as his four more films have managed to touch the same mark in a brief period. While the reviews were mixed, the inflated ticket rates at certain places and additional release in 3D offered some help.

No one could have missed the combination of two big superstars directed by S.S. Rajamouli. Naacho Naacho was already trending everywhere along with its hook steps. Despite that there was not a lot of rush in the beginning, it took five days for the Hindi version to collect Rs. 100 crores.

6) 2.0

The science-fiction film also became a part of the 100-crore club in five days. Rajinikanth’s presence was creating headlines. But Akshay Kumar’s entry as the antagonist led to more excitement. The climax teased another sequel. However, there are no updates.

7) Salaar

The public was angry after Adipurush. A section of the audience lost its trust in Prabhas. So, this time, the response changed a little bit. Some Hindi viewers also could not understand the story. But it still collected Rs. 100 crores in nine days in North India.

8) Saaho

After Baahubali 2, expectations were sky-high. However, everyone sitting inside the theatres was bored and exhausted, despite the fact that the first day recorded a big number. The result was that Rs. 100 crores was collected in five days.

9) Adipurush

The teaser received backlash. With a little improvement on the trailer, people went inside, hoping to enjoy Ramayana on the big screen. But the dialogues and visuals left everyone disappointed. However, the advantage of the bookings being opened five days before release helped to some extent, and the Hindi version entered the 100-crore club in a week.

12) Kantara – A Legend

People hardly knew Rishab Shetty in the Hindi market. However, the discussion among those who watched in Kannada with subtitles took a different turn, and Rishab eventually decided to bring a dubbed version. The response was highly positive and accumulated Rs. 100 crores in a brief period.

Kantara: Chapter 1 is currently running in theatres, and it has already entered the club in a week. With no other big pan-India releases in the next few months, all eyes are on Rocking Star Yash’s film Toxic. Let’s wait and see if Yash will repeat the success of K.G.F: Chapter 2 in Hindi.
