Cracking MBA degree from Country’s Top Business schools, IIM is a dream for many but very few actually realize the dream even with best facilities at their disposal. But a Newspaper boy from Bengaluru achieved this rare feat.
The boy, Shivakumar used to sell Newspapers to fund his family. Besides selling newspapers, he sold flowers, washed cars and worked as a sales representative in a car showroom. But Shivakumar in his 8th class, walked up to a working professional, Krishna Vedavyasa in his 8th class requesting to fund his studies.
The gentleman agreed and the newspaper boy went on to study engineering, completed MBA at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kolkata and is now set to join a German company as its Deputy Country Manager in Sri Lanka. People like Krishna Vedavyasa and Shivakumar should be the role models of the current society.
