Suriya has been doing content-oriented films like Jai Bhim and Soorarai Pottru for the past few years. Now he is returning with a crowd-pleasing fantasy action drama, Kanguva directed by Souryam fame Siva.
There was absolutely no buzz for the film, but after the title reveal and poster release, the film is making some decent noise among the trade and audience. The film is going to be Suriya’s first pan_india film that will be released in 10 languages in 3D.
The title is intriguing and the first look poster gives hope that the film will be a joyous fantasy ride to be watched only on a big screen.
One of the producers also revealed that if the first part becomes successful, they have plans of coming up with its sequel and also turn it into a franchise.
The film features the hot n happening Disha Patani as the lead actress. The film has wrapped 50% of the shooting and the remaining part will be finished by November 2023. The makers are aiming for April 2024 release.
