Ponuganti Niranjan (17), a devoted fan of Pawan Kalyan from Hanamkonda, has passed away after battling a rare genetic disorder. He breathed his last on Tuesday night while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad, leaving his family and fellow fans heartbroken.
Niranjan had been suffering from a congenital medical condition that affected his physical growth and left him bedridden for several years. As his health deteriorated in recent days, his parents shifted him to Hyderabad for advanced treatment. Despite the efforts of doctors, he could not be saved.
Last month, Pawan Kalyan personally visited Niranjan at his home in a gesture that touched many hearts. During the visit, he warmly embraced the teenager, encouraged him to stay strong, and spent time interacting with him and his family. He also presented him with Tirumala Srivari prasadam and posed for a selfie.
One of the most memorable moments from the meeting came when Niranjan shared his wish to own a puppy. Pawan Kalyan immediately assured him, saying he would send one. Keeping his promise, a puppy was delivered to Niranjan the very same day, bringing immense joy to the young fan.
Pawan Kalyan also made another heartfelt promise during the visit. He told Niranjan that if *OG 2* is made, he would be his special guest and they would watch the film together. Sadly, Niranjan passed away before that dream could become a reality.
