Films and politics have always been closely linked in Pawan Kalyan‘s life. Once again, that connection became a talking point at the Ustaad Bhagat Singh pre-release event, where an unexpected moment involving a bold political prediction grabbed everyone’s attention.
During the event, veteran Tamil actor and filmmaker R. Parthiban, who plays an important role in the film directed by Harish Shankar, took the stage and spoke enthusiastically about Pawan Kalyan. Addressing the audience, Parthiban confidently predicted that Pawan Kalyan would one day become Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister.
The statement immediately electrified the audience. However, what surprised many observers was Pawan Kalyan’s reaction, or rather the lack of it. While the crowd celebrated the comment, he remained completely silent. He did not smile, wave to the audience, or openly acknowledge the praise. Instead, he simply sat quietly on stage, appearing thoughtful and composed.
Those who closely follow the actor say this kind of response is not entirely unusual for him. Pawan Kalyan is often known to feel uncomfortable when praised publicly. Some fans believe he stayed quiet because he did not want to encourage political speculation during a film event.
A few others offered a different interpretation. They suggested that Pawan Kalyan may have avoided reacting because Parthiban had recently made controversial remarks about Trisha Krishnan amid the controversy surrounding Vijay’s divorce with Sangeetha.
Since Trisha had earlier worked with Pawan Kalyan, some fans believe the actor may have chosen not to publicly acknowledge praise from someone involved in that controversy. Vijay is also widely expected to potentially align with the NDA in upcoming elections, a coalition that Pawan Kalyan is already part of.
