pawan-kalyan-kushi-vijay-kushi

It is an age-old tradition in the South Indian Twitter space where there’s a clash between Tamil and Telugu cinema followers. The issue either originates from Thalapathy Vijay fans quarreling with Pawan Kalyan’s fans or Mahesh Babu fans.

The fight has started again now with Vijay fans, and a section of Tamil fans in general speaking trash about Pawan Kalyan’s Kushi. They are saying Vijay’s performance in Kushi is far superior to Pawan’s performance.

The fight has now reached a point where the standards of Telugu and Tamil cinema are being debated now. Telugu cinema fans are retorting that “Sambar”(troll on Tamil Nadu’s Sambar culture) fans are caught up with oppressed narrative of their films and they have no commercial viability.

What must be noted here is that, market-wise, Telugu cinema far supersedes Tamil cinema. Telugu industry has three 1000 crore grossers in the form of Baahubali 2, Kalki, and RRR. We have a contender in the form of Pushpa 2.

While Tamil cinema is struggling to touch Rs 500 crore gross, Telugu cinema is miles ahead. This market and reach speaks for itself. The insane reception at the global box office sets Telugu cinema far apart from Tamil and this should pretty much be end of the debate. There is no point in dragging this on.
