Pawan Kalyan is teaming up with Saaho-fame Sujeeth for a massive crime drama titled OG. The film is being bankrolled by top producer DVV Danayya. A small teaser was also released a few days back, which showed Sujeeth getting ready in a stylish manner to start shooting.
After seeing the sleekly cut teaser, Pawan Kalyan fans got overwhelmed and started imagining things about the film. But much to their disappointment, Nikhil Nadella, the director of OG’s concept video, has said that he had no idea about the film’s plot before crafting the video. He decoded everything from the first look poster like a fan.
So whatever was shown in that concept teaser might not be related in any way to the actual plot of the film. So fans should keep their expectation in check and stop making assumptions about Pawan Kalyan’s character or plot. Sujeeth’s last film Saaho also suffered because the film turned out to be something completely different from what Prabhas’ fans were expecting.
Sujeeth’s last film Saaho was a critical and commercial failure, which was heavily trolled for its insipid screenplay and direction by Sujeeth. The film was all style with zero substance.
He is one of those rare directors who has got a chance to direct a superstar like Pawan Kalyan despite delivering a big flop like Saaho. Sujeeth must make the maximum use of this golden chance and deliver a big hit to stay afloat in the Telugu film industry.
