PK on top in India

In what could be termed as perfect timing Aamir Khan starrer PK has become the biggest hit ever among Hindi films in India just as New Year has commenced.

PK has crossed Aamir’s own Dhoom 3 in India as it went on to create this new record. It has collected approximately 265 Cr and became only the second film in Bollywood after Dhoom 3 to cross the mark. The trade is expecting the film to sail past the 300 Cr mark comfortably in the coming days and create a new benchmark for other biggies that follow.

In the past too Aamir Khan had set new benchmarks for Bollywood by becoming the first actor to cross 100 Cr and 200 Cr mark in India and 500 Cr Gross mark worldwide. We have to wait and see where PK will end up in the final run.
