In a recent interview on a YouTube channel Posani Krishna Murali, an ardent YCP supporter, once again made some absurd comments to which netizens are giving him left, right, and center.
Posani Krishna Murali revealed, “When last year Tollywood film celebs came to meet Jagan for ticket price hikes, someone from the cinema industry was asking why Jagan’s government hiked the RTC ticket fares and electricity charges. I replied that the revenue generated from hikes goes to the development of the state. It reaches the people of Andhra Pradesh. But when a hero or producer asks for ticket hikes, it goes to them only. It is for their personal benefit.”
People on social media are bashing Posani over his senseless analogy, calling him dumb to compare a public entity like RTC and current charges to a private entity like ticket hikes for a movie.
Movie-going is optional. If the ticket rates are high, it is up to the people to watch or not watch the movie. But hiking electricity charges and RTC fares is an atrocity shoved down the throats of people’s throats by the Jagan government.
Such statements further emphasize Jagan Mohan Reddy’s competence as an administrator surrounded by clowns, which has turned the state into a circus.
