Traditionally the Pongal holidays in Tamil films industry sees multiple releases every year and fans are supercharged due to all the clashes that happen at the box office. It wasn’t any different this year but now all that is over and industry has moved to next big battle ground.
It is the first two weeks of April that is now attracting the next set of biggies in Tamil Nadu. Makers of films like Uttama Villain starring Kamal Haasan, Komban starring Karthi and Nanban starring Udhayanidhi Stalin are already locking horns with each other over the release dates even though one is not yet into the second half of February. Dates are being booked well in advance so as to not get into any last minute troubles.
Uttama Villain starring Kamal Haasan is currently leading this gamut of films and the makers are planning to go aggressive with promotions further to make it the unanimous viewers choice, come April. Can Karthi and Stalin withstand the competition or will others join the fun too? Whatever it is exciting time ahead for movie lovers for sure.
