RRR has achieved the unimaginable and has emerged as an All-Time Blockbuster in Telugu states and entered the profit zone in overseas. It can be recollected that RRR, Radhe Shyam, and Bheemla Nayak; all were supposed to release during the Sankranthi season. But due to the increase in COVID cases, each of them got postponed to different dates.
When the clash was ON, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan fans were seen thigh-slapping on social media that if the clash happened, then Bheemla Nayak would destroy RRR single-handedly. They were challenging NTR Prabhas and Ram Charan fans that Bheemla Nayak would emerge as the biggest among the Sankranthi releases.
But now, if we take a look at the collections of both the movies, even without a clash, Bheemla Nayak collected around 24 Cr share on its first day, whereas RRR collected 100 crore+ (70 Cr from Telugu states alone) which is way higher than the collections of Bheemla Nayak. Twitter fans are sharing screenshots of the posts made by Pawan Kalyan fans where they were making tall claims about the range of Bheemla Nayak’s collections.
To be honest, Bheemla Nayak turned out to be a pretty successful film, and achieved break-even status in all areas except AP where it suffered due to low ticket pricing issues. Pawan Kalyan needs one solid film, and collections will go to the next level, but still, many feel that Powerstar fans should smell the coffee before making back to back remakes.
