Cinema industry is depending a lot on marketing and publicity these days as it has become increasingly tough to bring the audience to theatres on the opening day. As a result, several medium and small films have been finding attention grabbing ways to promote their films.
A similar scenario is developing in the case of Tamil Hero Pradeep Ranganathan, as something unexpected is unfolding now.
Since last night, a few social media posts in the name of leaked social media conversations between Pradeep and a female social media influencer are trending. The narrative is built in such a way that Pradeep has the habit of texting social media influencers and inviting them to parties.
These screenshots of Pradeep allegedly conversing with a female Instagram influencer are being trended on Twitter now. While we don’t know if these screenshots are authentic or not, the conversation is clearly heading towards Pradeep’s personal image which is being put under question.
At the same time, there is also a parallel argument from a few social media work as they say this might be a publicity campaign designed by the team indirectly in order to create some sort of a discourse before LIK’s release. Considering that this film had been postponed a lot already, such activities like the one today might be to create a topic for the public to speak.
As of now, the hero has not reacted to this development, considering its vague and early nature, but if it catches up, then we can perhaps expected some sort of a reciprocal response.
