
National Award-winning actor Rishab Shetty will portray Lord Hanuman for the first time in Jai HanuMan, a mythological epic directed by Prasanth Varma.
The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series head Bhushan Kumar. This marks a major collaboration that brings together traditional storytelling and modern filmmaking.

Bhushan Kumar, known for T-Series’ strong devotional music presence—including the viral Hanuman Chalisa—described the film as “a celebration of Indian cinema and timeless devotion.” The project also signals T-Series’ entry into large-scale mythological films.
Producers Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar shared their excitement about working with Rishab Shetty. They also thanked Bhushan Kumar for supporting their vision.

Jai Hanuman will be a pan-India release and is expected to begin production soon. With rich visuals, authentic storytelling, and a strong spiritual message, the film aims to be a grand tribute to one of India’s most revered mythological figures.

The film was initially expected to release in 2025. However, due to Rishab Shetty’s unavailability, production has been delayed.
Filming is now likely to begin by the end of this year, with a tentative release planned for Sankranti 2027. Bhushan Kumar’s involvement is a major boost for the project, and it could help accelerate the production process.
