Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar is hitting the big screens globally in exactly a week from now and the stakes couldn’t have been higher. In a last-gasp promotional campaign, Neel is coming in front of Telugu media for the first time before the film’s release.
Neel will be interacting with Telugu media on the 17th of this month, Sunday and this should be a highly exciting one.
There are no promotional tours apart from this media meet and Neel will be asked a wide array of questions ranging from the reason behind low-key promotions, to whether Salaar will be a comeback film for Prabhas.
There will be questions on the postponement of the film from earlier this year to year-end. The proposed second trailer hasn’t arrived yet and there is no update on it either. There are no promotions in the important Hindi belt where revenues are decisively important.
Also, this is the first time Neel is facing the media all on his own without the hero – Prabhas alongside him. The entire focus will be on him. How will he deal with it?
Neel is affluent in Telugu despite being a Kannadiga, so he should have no problems. And also, he is fairly straightforward when answering all kinds of questions. He is soft and also quirky at the same time. So some popcorn entertainment is guaranteed.
