Purushaha is fast emerging as one of promising upcoming comedies, thanks to its amusing first-look posters and witty promotional material. Making Pavan Kalyan’s debut as a lead actor, the movie is directed by Veeru Ulavala. Saptagiri and Kasireddy Rajkumar played the other male leads in the movie produced by Battula Koteswara Rao and presented by Battula Saraswathi under Kalyan Productions. Today, director Buchi Babu Sana released the film’s teaser.
The teaser opens like an epic saga, with a deep, commanding voice narrating the tale of three courageous warriors on a quest for glory. But before long, the setup flips hilariously- the so-called warriors turn out to be regular husbands locked in daily domestic battles, constantly outmaneuvered by their better halves. Their collective frustration lands them in court, seeking divorce, paving the way for a storm of laughter and chaos.
Veeru Ulavala’s direction combines observational humor with slick storytelling, transforming everyday marital drama into a full-blown entertainer. The writing crackles with witty one-liners and relatable moments, backed by performances that click from the get-go.
Pavan Kalyan, Saptagiri and Kasireddy Rajkumar keep the laughs coming, with Vaishnavi Kokkura, Vishika, and Hasini Sudheer holding their own in the comic fray. Vennela Kishore’s surprise turn heightens the humor quotient.
Behind the scenes, Satish Muthyala’s cinematography lends a breezy texture, complemented by Shravan Bharadwaj’s fun musical beats. The film’s editing by Koti and art design by Ravi Babu Dondapati reflect solid craftsmanship, giving Purushaha a refined, commercial finish.
If the teaser is any indication, Purushaha could be an out-and-out entertainer that blends domestic comedy with quirky commentary- a fun theatrical treat in the making.
