Pushpa 2 Hindi

The second single, Angaaron (The Couple Song), from the highly-anticipated upcoming movie Pushpa 2: The Rule, was released today.

The video features Allu Arjun as Pushparaj and actress Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli.

The song, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, is beautifully sung by Shreya Ghoshal.

The response from the Hindi audience is fair. The melody is pleasant and catchy, with a superb vocal performance by Shreya Ghoshal. However, the lyrics are somewhat mediocre and give the impression of a song from a dubbing film.

When compared to the song Srivalli from Pushpa Part 1, Angaaron falls a bit short. Srivalli was more impactful visually also and had better lyrics.

Another drawback is that the video for Angaaron doesn’t include any actual scenes from the film, showing only behind-the-scenes footage.

While this might be acceptable for the Telugu audience, to generate more excitement in the North, the makers needed to include some glimpses from the actual song.

The choreography by Ganesh Acharya in the song video is pretty average and seems designed primarily to inspire social media reels rather than impress the audience.

Overall, the Sooseki (Angaaron) song is decent but doesn’t generate any extra hype or excitement for the Hindi audience to watch Pushpa 2 on the first day, first show.

If director Sukumar includes and picturizes the song effectively in the movie, it might gain more popularity after the film’s release.

Within 8 hours, the Hindi version of the song has garnered almost 3 million views and 200,000 likes on YouTube, which is good but not exceptional.
