In North America (U.S. + Canada), Pushpa 2 collected $9.9 million by its first Sunday, achieving a solid total from its five-day opening weekend. The collections primarily came from the Telugu and Hindi versions. While the opening weekend numbers are impressive, a noticeable drop began on Monday.
On Monday, the film earned $482K overall, with the Telugu version contributing only $126K. This sharp decline in the Telugu version is an alarming sign. In contrast, the Hindi version performed better, earning $349K on Monday—more than double the Telugu earnings.
Even on Tuesday, the same trend continued. By 8 p.m. EST, Pushpa 2 had collected $411K across all versions for the day. The Hindi version again led with $317K, while the Telugu version remained low at just $89K.
This indicates that the Telugu version’s run in North America is nearing its end, with only two potential days left—Friday and Saturday.
Although the Hindi version is performing well, its collections alone may not be enough to push the film to the anticipated $20–25 million mark.
Current projections suggest the total could settle around $16 – $17 million. The results from Saturday and Sunday will determine the final outcome.
