PVRINOX Limited has shared its financial results for the quarter ending on September 30, 2024. The company reported an impressive 69.2 million (6 crore 92 lakh) footfalls, with an average ticket price (ATP) of INR 247 and a spend per head (SPH) of INR 135.
The highlight of this quarter was the return of Hindi audiences to theaters, particularly driven by films like Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 and Kalki 2898 AD.

The financial report noted that Indian box office collections grew significantly, with a 40% quarter-on-quarter increase in Q2 FY’25. This rise reflects strong audience turnout and successful film releases.
A major contributor to this resurgence was the impressive performance of Hindi-language films, which saw a remarkable 91% increase in collections compared to the previous quarter.

Stree 2 has achieved the status of the highest-grossing Hindi movie of all time, playing a key role in this growth.
Additionally, Kalki 2898 AD, which was released at the end of Q1 FY’25, maintained strong performance in both Hindi and Telugu markets.

Other notable films included international hits like Deadpool and Wolverine, along with regional successes such as the Tamil film GOAT and NTR’s Devara, all of which contributed to a strong overall performance for the quarter.
