Rajamouli is by far the biggest commercial filmmaker in Indian cinema. The box office numbers of his films are unprecedented. He is now looking to amp it up further with Mahesh Babu’s film which will be made on a global scale.
Coming to the point, Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad stated the former could be working on Mahabharatha once he is done with Mahesh’s film.
Previously, Rajamouli said Mahabharatha is his dream project and he has the idea of making it in multiple parts. He even said this would be his dream project and also his final project.
However, Rajamouli is seeing and doing what no other Indian director ever could in the past. He is leading an illustrious career. At this point in time, will he actually decide to call it quits by doing Mahabharatha so very early?
Rajamouli attained global fame and even Hollywood’s attention with RRR and he has a lot to look forward to. With that in mind, will he actually see Mahabharatha as his last film? Or will he take note of the global avenues that have opened up after RRR and go the extra mile, which is the more likely option? There could certainly be a change in his retirement plan.
As for the film with Mahesh, the star hero will start training for the film from the end of this year, say reports.
