Director SS Rajamouli is undoubtedly the number one director in India right now. No other director even comes close to the level he has reached. It speaks volumes about the scale, storytelling and impact of his work.
However, Rajamouli’s career can be seen in two phases: Rajamouli 1.0 and Rajamouli 2.0. Rajamouli 1.0 refers to the phase when he made simpler, mass-commercial films and was quite active on Twitter. Back then, he used to tweet freely about his heroes or share his random thoughts without filters.
Now, as the country’s top director, his social media activity is much more limited. He clearly chooses his words carefully and maintains a certain restraint.
But recently, whenever fan wars or controversies break out between fandoms, old tweets from Rajamouli earlier days often resurface. These casual posts from years ago are being used against other actors or to fuel arguments among fans.
While those old tweets may not be harmful or controversial on their own, they no longer align with the stature or image Rajamouli holds today. Which raises an interesting question: Should Rajamouli just wipe out all his old tweets once and for all?
