Rajamouli is one true elite film maker in Indian cinema and the kind of craft and execution capabilities he has are beyond ordinary. We are now at a point where any actor who gets to work with Rajamouli can be considered lucky.
For now, Rajamouli is occupied with Varanasi, which has Mahesh Babu in the central role, and this film is currently in the production stage.
The interesting observation about this film is that Rajamouli has confirmed that the major majority of the shooting has been completed already and whatever portion is left could be done by October this year.
This would make Varanasi one of the quickest projects in Rajamouli’s career in terms of production timeline as he executed this shooting process in around 12 months. This is exceptionally quick by Rajamouli standards.
But the real question starts with the post production process, which is where Rajamouli spends most of his time in enhancing the VFX and CGI output along with the edit corrections.
But in a way, Mahesh can consider himself lucky as he could complete a Rajamouli film in a rather quick time. As we had mentioned earlier, this is the fastest shooting timeline for any Rajamouli film till date in the recent years.
Mahesh will now have the time and efforts to work on some other project after completing the shooting for this Rajamouli film. It turns out that Mahesh will be getting two shots, the same proposition as he gets to feature in Rajamouli film while also having the additional luxury of completing it extremely quickly.
