Ram Charan’s collaboration with director Shankar for the film “Game Changer” has been eagerly anticipated by fans for nearly two years. Shankar seemed like an ideal choice after the global success of RRR. However, the film has encountered unexpected and frequent delays during its production, leaving fans frustrated.
Fans had high hopes for “Game Changer” considering Shankar’s stature and the grand scale promised by the collaboration. Adding to the frustration is Shankar’s apparent focus on “Indian 2” over “Game Changer.”
Producer Dil Raju had initially planned to release the film in September, but Shankar’s indecision and focus on other projects, particularly “Indian 2,” have caused delays.
The recent announcement of Pawan Kalyan’s film “OG” releasing around the same date as “Game Changer” added another layer of complexity.
The clash between the two big releases in September has left fans surprised and uncertain about the fate of their much-awaited film and has further fueled frustration among fans. This has resulted in Charan fans trending abusive hashtags against Shankar which isn’t a good sign.
The latest update suggests that the next schedule for “Game Changer” is set to commence in the second week of February. This lengthy schedule aims to complete a significant portion of the remaining shooting. The film, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, is expected to hit theaters towards the end of this year or early next year.
