Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi became a huge blockbuster becoming South India’s Highest Grosser of the Year. The movie team have conducted Mega Blockbuster Celebrations with Megastar Chiranjeevi, Anil Ravipudi and Sukumar as Guests.
Anil Ravipudi praised Charan’s efforts and his transformation into Peddi on screen. He commented that Peddi is a much needed blockbuster for Telugu Cinema at perfect time. Sukumar revealed that Ram Charan and he had tears when Buchi Babu Sana, the director narrated the story. He remarked that Charan is the Gold Medal who made Peddi such a big winner.
Ram Charan thanked audiences for showering praises his performance and his efforts are always to tell a honest story. He stated that he loved looking at old people, young kids and youth enjoying the film equally while parents taking their children to film. He praised AR Rahman for elevating their collective efforts with his BGM and revealed that he himself was moved watching the movie for the score.
Megastar Chiranjeevi said, “As a senior actor I am thankful to Peddi team for bringing such a cult film and big blockbuster at this time. More than that as a father I am feeling 100% satisfaction much more than Rangasthalam. I wondered when Charan will find another such cult film but Peddi is 10 notches higher than that. I should appreciate Venkata Satish Kilaru, the producer for putting his money on passion and making this such a special film.”
He continued to say, “Ram Charan has become a complete actor with this film. I forgot I am watching a film and got involved into the story and yes, it is Charan’s One Man Show. I am ready to take a back seat and be called as Charan’s father but will not retire from films. I recalled my accidents but as a father I felt what my father did when I pulled off risky stunts. It is not Chiranjeevi it is Charan-jeevu from here on. Thank you everyone for making Peddi such a memorable experience.”
