Raashii Khanna appears to have accidentally revealed a casting detail that the makers of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Dharman have not officially announced yet.
The actress, who plays an important role in the film directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, is currently shooting with the team in Mysuru. The film is now in its fourth schedule, and Raashii recently shared a series of pictures from her time in the city.
One of the pictures featured Raashii with Superstar Rajinikanth and Ram Pothineni. In her Instagram post, she spoke about early morning workouts with Rajinikanth and Ram, temple visits, UNO sessions, laughter and, of course, Mysuru dosa.
However, there was one problem.
Ram Pothineni’s presence in Dharman has not yet been officially announced by the production house. While reports about his involvement have been circulating for some time, the makers have kept his casting under wraps.
Raashii reportedly deleted the post soon after realizing that the picture had effectively revealed the secret. But by then, it was already too late.
The picture quickly spread across social media, with fans discussing Ram’s presence alongside Rajinikanth. His role is expected to be an important one, although the exact character details remain under wraps.
Anirudh is composing the music, while Niketh Bommi handles cinematography and Pradeep E Raghav is the editor. The film is produced by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran, with S Disney as co-producer under Raaj Kamal Films International.
Now, after Raashii’s accidental reveal, the curiosity around Rajinikanth and Ram Pothineni sharing the screen has only increased. The big question is what role Ram is actually playing and why the makers were keeping it a secret.
