GV Prakash stated that he felt honoured to be part of a film like Ramayana, which is a timeless epic and mentioned that his journey with this film began unexpectedly.

Furthermore, he stated that just as he had returned from Ayodhya and reached the airport after completing promotions for Nayyi Naveli, he received a call from AR Rahman asking him to lend his voice for a song picturized on Yash’s character, Raavan.

He also mentioned that Rahman’s extraordinary musical vision has elevated the soundscape of Ramayana to a whole new level. As a singer, he took it as a challenge not merely to sing the notes, but to contribute to the world of Ramayana and help make the character of Raavan feel larger than life.

Following these comments from the composer, many feel that this particular song in the film will be an absolute masterpiece.

While many people are delighted to see GV Prakash part of a film like Ramayana, some fear that his voice might not suit Yash’s persona. They point out that Yash has a deep, commanding base to his voice, whereas GV Prakash’s voice is relatively soft and youthful. Therefore, they worry that the song has a huge possibility of not suit the character of Raavan.

Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether the track will emerge as a viral hit and whether GV Prakash’s vocals will do justice to Yash’s portrayal of Raavan upon its release.
