The entire India was waiting to see the trailer of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana on July 24, 2026. However, the much-awaited moment was suddenly postponed by the makers, citing a new distribution deal as the reason.
The audience is undoubtedly unhappy due to the decision. Most of them have questioned the makers, addressing their behaviour over the last few months. Netizens specifically pointed out the decision of the makers to organise international events instead of doing something for the Indian audience.
The hype was very big for the trailer, considering that the producers organised a big event and invited the cast, journalists, and a lot of other people to launch the glimpse.
While people who attended the event were lucky to see the trailer, the general public is now expressing its frustration, saying that if the plan was to postpone, then the makers could have organised the same event throughout India, which would have also ensured that everyone got to witness the world created by Nitesh Tiwari, Namit Malhotra, and the entire team.
A few others alleged that the makers are possibly not done with the VFX and CGI work, and they are not ready to reveal the reality to the audience. However, a particular section asked them to disclose the truth instead of giving any excuses.
Some even stated that the hype created through the event has now gone to waste as the trailer has been postponed. Netizens also wrote that if such things continue, people will slowly lose interest in the film.
Ramayana has been made on a reported budget of Rs. 4,000 crores. The movie needs a big opening right now, and the trailer is the only way to reach the audience and build a connection with them. But it remains to be seen if the trailer will be strong enough to help the makers recover the money they have invested.
