Rumours in political and media circles are rife that Media Baron Ramoji Rao is crticially ill and bed ridden. While the exact reason for the illness is not known, they say he is mostly confined to bed these days and also is not participating in the day to day affairs of Eenadu Group. 78 years old Ramoji Rao started with a pickles business and today his empire consists of Eenadu Group. Ramoji Rao is often called as the Kingmakers after he paved way for the dethroning of Nadendla Bhaskar Rao and NT Rama Rao in too different episodes. Ramoji Rao still dictates Telugu politics with his Eenadu Newspaper. Off late he is working on a project ‘Om city’ which will have the model temples of 108 famous temples in India.
His last public appearance was few days back when he presented the brochure of the project to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
