The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has launched a preliminary enquiry. Authorities are also coordinating with US agencies to trace the source of the call. Technical analysis of the number is underway.

Investigators suspect the voice in the audio message belongs to a gang associate known as Harry Boxer. He is believed to be a key member of the Bishnoi gang. His possible role in the case is currently being examined.

The threat reportedly emerged soon after a firing incident outside Rohit Shetty’s residence. This timing has raised questions about a possible link between the two incidents. Police are analysing whether the cases are connected.

Following the threat, security around Ranveer Singh has been tightened. His manager’s statement has also been officially recorded. The investigation remains active.

In the audio clip, an unidentified person is heard threatening the actor. The caller allegedly warned about targeting people associated with Ranveer and their families. The message also mentioned retaliation for filing a police complaint.

The clip reportedly referred to earlier incidents involving the gang. These included threats linked to Kapil Sharma and warnings associated with Salman Khan.

As of now, no FIR has been registered. The probe is still ongoing. Neither Ranveer Singh nor Rohit Shetty has issued a public statement so far.
