Previously, Prasanth had planned to make this film with Ranveer Singh, but creative differences led to the project getting shelved.

Currently, it is expected that it will take at least two years to complete two films from the Hanu Man universe. After that, Prabhas will be approached to allot his dates.

Whether Prabhas will okay this project will depend on the outcome of Jai Hanuman.

The concept of Brahmarakshas has always been explored in a Bollywood film titled Creature by Vikram Bhatt. There was also a TV serial based on this subject.
