In the case of Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, a similar scenario is being observed now. He appears to be taking certain steps, which, according to many social media comments have obvious political implications.
Firstly, the Dhurandhar duology that was sculpted by Ranveer Singh and his Director Aditya Dhar had aged comments about its Rightist philosophy. Certain scenes and narrative in the film elevated the image of the ruling NDA and PM Modi.
This immediately led to people labelling this film as a rightist propaganda. Nevertheless, the film turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters in the history of Indian cinema.
And now, Ranveer is doing something pretty significant again as he visited the RSS office in Nagpur to pay tributes to RSS founder Hedgewar.
The close proximity of the series of events, including the release of Dhurandhar, which faced rightist propaganda commentary, and now, Ranveer visiting the RSS head office have led to reactions about Ranveer.

As a result, Ranveer is now bound to be backed by the right wing on social media and that’s for certain. But at the same time neutral commentators say Ranveer should stay rather neutral instead of taking socio political sides. In the end, it has to be seen where this saga would conclude at.
