It is known that Rashmika Mandanna had a persona turmoil shortly after her debut in films as she had a break-up with Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty, whom she got engaged to but didn’t marry later.
When asked to comment on the difficult passage, Rakshit Shetty gave a mature and straightforward reply in a new interview.
“It was tough but we both pulled through and that is what is important. Rashmika had a big dream then and she wanted to pursue it. I am happy for whatever she accomplished later in her life. We are still in touch and we are both happy with where we are with regard to our careers” Rakshit said.
Normally, when a couple who are about to get married breakup, the ending will be a sore one and the two of them won’t be on good terms later. But in the case of Rakshit and Rashmika, despite all the media glare, it is good to know that both of them are still in touch and happy for each other.
Rashmika has pan Indian biggie Pushpa 2 lined up for release while Rakshit is busy doing Kannada films. He is seeing good success in other languages as well with films like Charlie 555 and SSE.
