Following the successes of ‘Stree’ and ‘Munjya’, the horror-comedy universe expands with ‘Vampires of Vijay Nagar’, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna.
Previously Samantha Ruth Prabhu was signed for the film, but Rashmika now takes her place due to Samantha’s health issues, causing significant delays in the film’s production schedule.
Rashmika is busy with many films like Chaava, Pushpa 2, and Sikandar. So her dates are available only after November.
Initially planned for February 14, 2025, ‘Vampires of Vijay Nagar’ faces a production start in November this year, pushing its release to the last quarter of 2025. An official announcement is expected after ‘Stree 2’ hits theaters.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for the surprise hit ‘Munjya’, this film is the eighth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe, following ‘Stree’, ‘Roohi’, ‘Bhediya’, ‘Munjya’, and the upcoming ‘Stree 2’, slated for release next month.
