Salaar is the first big-ticket pan-Indian film to release after the onset of the Congress government in Telangana. The makers had approached the Revanth Reddy government regarding ticket price hikes and additional shows. In accordance, Revanth has given a mega bonus of sorts to the Prabhas starrer.
The government of Telangana has permitted Rs 250 and 175 ticket pricing in single screens across the Nizam region. The multiplex pricing will be Rs 370 and Rs 470(recliners).
Not only that, the government has permitted the much-desired 6-shows per day for Salaar. The film will have screenings from 1 AM on the 22nd of December in select locations.
Telangana government has given a free hand to Salaar with regard to ticket pricing and additional shows. This could set a new precedent for big-ticket films in the Revanth Reddy regime.
With the ticket prices and additional shows sorted, the advance bookings for Salaar will begin today.
