Ashish said that he was cast solely due to his worth even though the movie comes from his father’s (Shirish) and uncle’s (Dil Raju) banner. He has gone through the struggle and will win on his talent alone remarked the debutant.

Dil Raju speaking at the event thanked Ram Charan for attending despite the busy schedule. He later said that every time there was a dip, his production house came strongly with a resounding success at the box office. Rowdy Boys too is made with a similar mindset due to the various struggles it has been through in recent years, Dil Raju assured.

In the past, many Dil Raju productions were released on Sankranthi (SVSV, Yevadu, Shatamanam Bhavati, Sarileru Neekevvaru) and emerged winners at the box office. Rowdy Boys will be another addition and take him closer to a double hat-trick, said Dil Raju.

Ram Charan congratulated Devi Sri Prasad for coming up with excellent work for a debutant. He later went on to give some words of wisdom to young Ashish and said that he should focus on acting alone and be disciplined. The latter will take him places more than the talent, quipped the RRR star. He also said that Rowdy Boys is lucky to get Sankranthi release and that it will be a winner like previous Dil Raju movies.
