BRO marks Sai Dharam Tej’s 16th film, and he was recently part of the blockbuster film Virupaksha, which, though not a regular hero-centric film, adds to his filmography.
Prior to this, Sai Tej had faced a rough phase, delivering continuous flops. However, Virupaksha followed by BRO, where he shares the screen with one of the most crowd-pulling stars of TFI, Pawan Kalyan, is a huge relief for Sai.
Sai Dharam will take a break before starting shooting for his next film to undergo minor surgery.
If BRO also performs well at the box office, it will bring tremendous relief and a surge of energy for Sai to start a new project after his break.
From a movie career perspective, this film is more important for Sai Dharam Tej than Pawan Kalyan, who is juggling between movies and politics.
Being part of a multistarer that will see bigger numbers at the box office due to Pawan Kalyan’s factor is an advantage for Sai Dharam.
This remake will also provide clarity on whether remakes still attract theater audiences or not. The day one opening may not count, as mega fans go to theaters, but the later run will make the impact of ‘remake’ factor clear.
