Saindhav Effect: Prabhas Fans Nervous!

Kalki 2898 AD

Venkatesh’s latest action thriller, Saindhav, has gotten extremely mixed reviews, and a big part of the criticism is aimed at the music director, Santosh Narayan. People are saying his music didn’t match the intense action scenes, especially around 8-10 scenes that could’ve been better with more exciting background music.

Santosh Narayan’s music also falls short in terms of songs, and the background music, which is crucial for an action movie, doesn’t make up for it. Tollywood fans are urging makers to stop experimenting with Tamil-based music directors as everyone is not Anirudh.

Some folks who watched the film are even saying that although Nawazuddin Siddiqui is supposed to be the bad guy in “Saindhav,” the real villain turned out to be Santosh Narayan and his ‘thanda’ background music. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time – in last year’s movie “Dasara,” his music was also a weak point.

Now, Santosh Narayan is set to do the music for Prabhas’ next pan-world movie, “Kalki 2898 AD.” After the disappointment with “Saindhav,” some Prabhas fans want him out of the project, thinking he’s not up to the task. His involvement is seen as bringing down the excitement for the film.

We’ll have to wait and see if Santosh Narayan stays on for “Kalki.” And if he does, can he bounce back and resurrect himself by creating some really exciting background music for it? Time will tell if he can shake off the criticism and meet the expectations for the mammoth Prabhas film.
