The Prabhas-Prashanth Neel film had a mixed theatrical response. Now, the sequel finally appears to be moving forward in a serious way.
According to the latest buzz, a big actor has reportedly joined the cast of Salaar 2. He is said to be playing Dhara Shouryanga, the father of Deva, the character played by Prabhas.
This is expected to be a huge casting addition. According to a source from the team, the character will have an important role in the story and will be crucial to the events that unfold in the sequel.
The casting of a prominent actor for Deva’s father has naturally created fresh curiosity around Salaar 2. The first film left several questions unanswered, and the sequel is expected to take the story and the conflict to a much bigger level.
