Prabhas is the undisputed pan-India star in the country right now and no actor’s films are as awaited as his. However, when updates about his two upcoming films clash, the excitement becomes divided.
Despite Salaar’s impending release in less than 50 days, the film’s buzz has become somewhat diluted. This shift can be attributed to recent updates about Project K, now titled ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The release of its poster, the revelation of the title, and the teaser have collectively diverted attention from Salaar.
In the past few days, Prabhas’ fans, social media users, YouTubers, and offline discussions have been predominantly centered around Kalki, overshadowing Salaar. Now, the onus is on Homable Films, the makers, to redirect the spotlight back to Salaar.
Salaar is one of the most crucial projects in Prabhas’ career. After a few misfires, he is back into his beast mode after a long time which his fans were waiting for since the post-Baahubali days. Prashant Neel also has to prove that he can deliver a blockbuster even outside the KGF universe.
