The first trailer of Salaar opened to mixed talk. But that is not the case with the release trailer which dropped today. It is a fool-proof action packed cut in Prashanth Neel style.
The trailer starts with the introduction of two dear friends, Mannar and Deva, played by Prithviraj and Prabhas respectively. Then comes a deeper look into the violent world of Khansaar.
Prabhas is shown in an unapologetically violent manner and this is dream stuff for fans who wanted to see their hero in his trademark mass avatar. Neel has made great use of all of the 6’2″+ cutout of Prabhas in the action sequences. There are many one-liner elevation dialogues, much like in the case of KGF 2.
Prabhas is seen as a violent hitman who goes to any extent for a ruthless Sulthan and his controlled aggression is established well. As it appears, Neel has filled the film with such elevation blocks for the main man.
The background score is also fittingly loud in this trailer as opposed to the mellowed first trailer. Neel was clear about getting mass hype with this trailer and he cooked up a winning recipe.
Salaar gets its final push before the big release on the 22nd of December with this massy trailer cut.
