Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru are now officially married. The couple tied the knot today on December 1, 2025, in a simple private ceremony at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Foundation campus in Coimbatore. The event was attended by about 30 close friends and family members. Samantha later shared their wedding photos on Instagram with the caption “01.12.2025.”
While fans and friends flooded social media with congratulatory messages, the wedding also stirred massive controversy online. Raj Nidimoru’s ex-wife Shhyamali De posted a cryptic message on Instagram that read “Desperate people do desperate things.”
Even though she did not name anyone, the post quickly went viral. Many speculated that it was aimed at Raj and Samantha. Reports suggest that Shhyamali may have been unaware of how serious Raj’s relationship with Samantha had become in the last few years.
Adding more fuel to the fire, actress Poonam Kaur shared a taunting tweet that many interpreted as a veiled attack on Samantha. She wrote about someone building a new home by breaking another and mentioned money, power, and image. This further fueled gossip and online debates.
