Vanga Brothers Going Overboard!

In a recent discussion, Pranay Reddy Vanga, co-producer of the popular movie Animal, sparked controversy by talking about a common Bollywood practice called Corporate Bookings. He highlighted a trend where box office numbers are boosted through these bookings.

At the same time, his brother Sandeep Reddy Vanga stirred the pot by making critical statements against critics, labeling them as illiterates, after the release of Animal.

While presenting facts isn’t a bad thing, some people sense a touch of arrogance in their statements, especially after the success of Animal. It appears as if they might be intentionally pissing off certain individuals.

It’s interesting to note that Pranay Reddy Vanga is criticizing Bollywood, even though he collaborates with Bollywood figures like Bhushan Kumar, who has faced accusations of inflated collections in the past. This discrepancy doesn’t sit well with some observers.

In reality, Bollywood tends to provide official collections from producers that are generally close to the actual collections. This is different from South industry, where posters often feature inflated collections of 30-40% to generate hype.

Perhaps it would be wise for the Vanga brothers to recognize that they are part of the same ecosystem and avoid going against it. Creating tensions with stars, critics, and production houses may not be beneficial in the long run. Success doesn’t last forever, and it would be better for them to stay humble and focus on creating more exciting films in the future.
