Rashmika Mandanna is back on the sets after a long break caused by her hip injury. She has resumed shooting for Allu Arjun and Atlee’s Raaka in Mumbai. Rashmika joined Allu Arjun for a few days, while her full schedule is expected to begin next month.
Rashmika suffered the injury while shooting a dance sequence for Mysaa. One of her hip tendons was badly injured and she needed time to recover. She even joked that the injury forced her to slow down because the universe wanted her to spend time with her husband.
Rashmika recently revealed that she and Vijay Deverakonda barely spent time together after their marriage because of their busy schedules. She said they went almost three months without properly seeing each other.
During her recovery, they finally got time together. They watched shows, relaxed at home and shared their different tastes. Rashmika introduced Vijay to Korean dramas.
Now, she is back to work leaving her husband behind at home.
Raaka is one of her biggest upcoming films. She will reunite with Allu Arjun after the Pushpa films, with several important action scenes reportedly planned for their combination. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, Janhvi Kapoor and Karan Mehta. Atlee is mounting it as a big fantasy action-adventure film with lot of creatures.
The team reportedly plans to finish the shoot by early 2027, with December 2027 being considered for release.
