The teaser for Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal dropped a little while ago. The teaser opened to a largely positive response and moreover, Ranbir’s mass presentation worked the trick.
In this context, there have been reports that Mahesh Babu had rejected the script of Animal and that is how Ranbir bagged the same.

However, it is established from well known sources that Mahesh hadn’t necessarily rejected Animal subject.
Sandeep had narrated a script related to space, primarily pertaining to stars, astronomy, and related aspects. But Mahesh didn’t pick this subject and turned it down.

Sandeep then prepared Animal script and did the film with Ranbir. Meaning, Mahesh didn’t reject the script of Animal and it was a different subject altogether.
