Film personalities have the knack of entering politics and trying their luck. There are countless such artists who have entered the politics. But not all of them have scaled great heights.
Now, coming to the topic, we are hearing that a Tollywood actress is now set to make a political switch and not for the first time in her career. She is veteran Telugu actress Jayasudha.
Jayasudha first contested Secunderabad as an MLA in 2009 and won from there. She the switched to TDP between 2016-19 before joining YCP in 2019 and staying with the party till 2022.
Cut to now, Jayasudha is set to move to BJP and she is expecting an MLA ticket from Secunderabad or Musheerabad in the next election.
If Sharmila‘s party will merge into Congress, the party high command plans to field her from Secunderabad instead of Musheerabad. In such case, it will be Sharmila Vs Jayasudha.
Both of them have Christian evangelism background and will be a tough contest in the seat with considerable Christian population.
The yesteryear actress is to join BJP in the presence of Amit Shah and she will be active in the party henceforth it seems.
