‘Enthiran’ aka ‘Robo’ was released in 2010 and it has been ten years. However, the plagiarism charges slapped against director Shankar by one writer Arur Tamilnadan have been still there till date.
Previously, Shankar appealed to the court to put a stay on the trail of the case claiming that the story of Enthiran’ was his own. However, the major set back to the director came in the form the Supreme Court’s order denying stay on the trail on the plagiarism charges.
So, a trail will have to proceed based on Arur Tamilnadan’s plagiarism charges against Shankar and the above-mentioned writer demanded one crore rupees as compensation for that.
Shankar’s ‘Enthiran’ was followed by a sequel as well starring Rajinikanth as the lead that didn’t live up to the expectations. Now, this old case surfaced and let’s see how things would proceed from now onwards.
