In the recent times, the Telugu remake of ‘Thani Oruvan’ as ‘Dhruva’ turned out to be a perfect remake suitable to the tastes if audiences in Telugu States. Not all remakes have that feel or potential to be remade. Here is one more Tamil film ‘Sethupathi’ which is indeed a perfect fit to be remade in Telugu unlike the umpteen number of remakes launched recently.

Those who watched the highly successful ‘Sethupathi’ will agree that this cop story is a perfect film to be remade in Telugu. When such a film story is in the offing, who wouldn’t be ready to grab the offer and make the most of it? Which popular charismatic hero had grabbed it? If Pawan Kalyan picks it, it would create records for the kinda simple cop story it is and rewrite with new records.
It might be surprising to know that director Jayanth C Paranjee, who isn’t in the form currently has picked up this project and is going to make it with a debutante Ganta Ravi Teja, son of politician Ganta Srinivasa Rao. So, there might be heavy changes to the script as the hero in the original is a father of two kids.
A debutante can’t surely play the father of two with high emotional connect. There is also a lot of action besides this emotional connect. Finally, a good remake picked for Telugu but for a debut hero!
