In the theatrical trailer of Sharwa’s upcoming festive entertainer Nari Nari Naduma Murari, one witty dialogue has instantly caught everyone’s attention. When Gautham, Sharwa’s character, is asked why he studied engineering (B.Tech) despite working as an architect, he replies with a deadpan punchline: “Not just me – no boy who has studied B.Tech will be able to answer that question.”
The line has gone viral, resonating strongly with today’s youth. It reflects a widely relatable truth about engineering graduates who often end up pursuing completely different careers. Interestingly, the film’s producer Anil Sunkara and director Ram Abbaraju themselves are engineering graduates who ultimately followed their passion for cinema.
In fact, a surprising number of filmmakers in the industry share similar journeys – they completed engineering, but their hearts led them elsewhere. At the same time, not every engineering graduate ends up switching paths, making the dialogue even more humorous.
Thanks to this cleverly written punchline, engineering graduates across the board are finding a fun connection with NNNM. Early reports also suggest that the film’s story carries a similarly relatable flavour.
With the movie gearing up for one of the biggest Sankranthi releases tomorrow, expectations are soaring- and this viral dialogue has only boosted the buzz further.
