There is no doubt that a particular section of audiences are missing Shekhar Kammula very badly. He is completely out of focus after ‘Anamika’. Prior to ‘Anamika’, there had been a buzz that Shekhar is going to remake ‘Happy Days’ in Hindi. But that didn’t happen.

When we ask, ‘Where is Shekhar Kammula?’, the reply is that he is working on the remake script of ‘Happy Days’. If the ‘Happy Days’ (HD) remake is still on for him, then it’s certainly not a good thing to hear for fans and also for him. It’s fine that HD earned him fame but remaking a film after several year doesn’t seem to be a good idea though.
Will the subject be fresh for North audiences now? Youthful films with college backdrop are beaten to death in every film industry. Hence, Shekhar unable to come out of HD fever sounds not so good. A fresh subject with fresh faces would do more magic than trying on the beaten to death formula which he created years ago.
