Shobu Bluntly Criticizes Prabhas!

Shobu Yarlagadda, known for his dedication to work and non-controversial nature, bluntly pointed fingers at his ‘Baahubali’ hero, Prabhas.

In a recent YouTube interview, Shobu mentioned that a film like ‘Salaar’ doesn’t need promotion in Telugu markets due to Prabhas’s star power, but emphasized the importance of promoting in Hindi.

He bluntly compared Prabhas’s zero-promotion strategy to Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan,’ stating that while Shah Rukh doesn’t need to promote, Prabhas could have seen better collections with promotion for his Salaar in Hindi belt.

Although he subtly addressed it, Shobu’s open talk about this matter should at least create a discussion.

Often, when a star hero is involved, industry insiders, including their own production teams, fear to discuss such facts.

Shobu’s opinions hold weight, not only Prabhas but also director Prashanth Neel avoided pre-release promotions in Hindi, especially while competing with the biggest Bollywood star’s film.

He expressed the producer’s perspective and pain.
