The reveal of Shah Rukh Khan’s King title has sparked more than excitement it has ignited a fresh fan war online. What began as a fashion comparison quickly turned into a heated social media clash involving SRK, Prabhas, and director Siddharth Anand.
In the King announcement clip, SRK appeared in a suede jacket paired with a blue denim shirt. Many users compared his look to Brad Pitt’s outfit from F1, claiming the Bollywood star copied the Hollywood actor’s style.
SRK fans immediately fought back, sharing old photos proving Shah Rukh had worn similar outfits long before. They cited scenes from Jab Harry Met Sejal (2017), Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006), and even a 2005 photoshoot turning the debate into a “who wore it first” showdown.
Fans then expanded the comparison to classic stars-Rajinikanth, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Dilip Kumar who all sported similar looks. But the real drama began when a user shared a vintage photo of Rajendra Kumar, to which Siddharth Anand commented,
“Tell me this is not AI ”
That single remark set Prabhas fans off. They believed Anand was mocking recent reports about the use of an AI-generated voice of Prabhas in the Spirit teaser. Tensions between SRK and Prabhas fans were already high after Sandeep Reddy Vanga called Prabhas “India’s biggest superstar” and Siddharth Anand declared SRK as “India’s King.”
Social media soon turned chaotic, with SRK and Prabhas fans posting memes, edits, and troll videos to defend their favourites. The feud has now spiralled beyond fashion, becoming a full-blown fan war.
To make matters worse, Prabhas fans are now accusing Siddharth Anand of copying action scenes from Saaho in Pathaan. The clash between both fandoms continues to intensify, and it doesn’t look like this online battle will end anytime soon.
